Never commit a container to a piece you have not held. Order a sample first — it is the cheapest way to test a factory 8,000km away, and it sets the standard the whole order is checked against.
Why sample first
A photo cannot tell you how a joint feels, how a finish reads in your light, or how upholstery is tailored. A sample can. Ordering one before a container turns a leap of faith into a decision you can make with the real piece in front of you.
A five-unit sample run
Our MOQ starts at a five-unit sample run, priced so you can evaluate the real product before committing. It is a sample in the sense that matters — the actual piece, in your wood and finish, made the way the production run will be.
What a sample proves
- Joinery and structural quality.
- Finish — colour, evenness and feel.
- Upholstery tailoring and fill, and your own fabric (COM) if supplied.
- Materials and moisture stability.
- That the piece matches your drawing and expectation.
The sample becomes the benchmark
Once you approve the sample, we set a production date and hold it — and that approved piece becomes the standard every production unit is checked against during quality control. Approve the sample, and "as per sample" becomes measurable.
