Ordering & logistics

The practical side of buying by the container from Jodhpur — the Incoterms we work with, the ports we load from, how to plan a container, and how furniture is packed for the sea journey.

Incoterms we work with

Pick the split of responsibility that suits how you import.

IncotermWhat we handleBest for
EXW (Ex Works)You arrange collection from our Jodhpur factory and all freight; risk passes to you at our gate.Buyers with their own forwarder in India.
FOB (Free On Board)We handle export clearance and load at Mundra or Nhava Sheva; you take over once the goods are on board. Most experienced importers.
CIF (Cost, Insurance, Freight)We add sea freight and insurance to your destination port, so you get one number to the port.First-time buyers who want it simple.

Ports & freight

We load from Mundra and Nhava Sheva, India’s main west-coast container ports, by FCL (a full container) or LCL (a shared container for smaller orders). Your forwarder or ours books the sailing; transit time depends on the destination port and routing.

MOQ & planning a container

Orders scale from a five-unit sample run through to a full 40HC, and mixed containers are welcome. Because how much fits depends on each item’s volume (CBM), the best way to plan is to estimate by CBM.

Use the container fill calculator for an estimate per 20ft, 40ft and 40HC, and we confirm the exact loading against your final specification.

Packing

Furniture is export-packed for the sea journey and fumigated to ISPM-15. Fragile assemblies, glass and finished surfaces are protected for handling and long transit. Packaging can be adapted to your requirements — including your own labelling for OEM / private-label orders.

Lead times

A production date is set and held once you approve the sample; freight transit is added on top. We confirm exact lead times against your specification, quantity and destination at the quote stage — see the full import process.

Frequently asked

What is the difference between EXW, FOB and CIF?
EXW means you collect from our Jodhpur factory and arrange all freight. FOB means we clear export and load at an Indian port, then you take over. CIF adds sea freight and insurance to your destination port. Most first-time buyers choose CIF or FOB.
Which ports do you ship from?
Mundra and Nhava Sheva — India’s main west-coast container ports — by FCL or LCL.
What is the difference between FCL and LCL?
FCL is a full container booked to your order; LCL shares a container with other cargo and suits smaller volumes. As your quantity grows, FCL usually becomes more economical per piece.
How many pieces fit in a container?
It depends on each item’s CBM. Use our container calculator for an estimate per 20ft, 40ft and 40HC, and we confirm the exact loading against your final specification.
