Mango wood (Mangifera indica)

Even-toned and dimensionally stable, mango is a versatile, sustainable hardwood — harvested from orchard trees past fruiting. It suits clean, contemporary pieces and takes stains and paints predictably, which makes it a reliable choice across a mixed hospitality specification. We kiln-dry and moisture-log it to roughly 8–10% so it behaves consistently on arrival.

Built to order, shipped by the container

Everything is made on our own floor and checked piece by piece before packing. From a five-unit sample to a full 40HC, we quote EXW, FOB or CIF from Mundra or Nhava Sheva, fumigate to ISPM-15 and prepare the documentation at our end.

For damp or covered outdoor settings, choose acacia or teak; for the hardest-wearing tops, sheesham.

For importers and wholesalers

We sell to importers, distributors and retailers as well as hotel projects: wholesale quantities from a five-unit sample run to full containers, mixed containers welcome, quoted EXW, FOB or CIF. See the market pages for the USA, UK, Australia and Europe.

EU deforestation rules (EUDR)

From 30 December 2026 the EU Deforestation Regulation applies to wooden furniture (HS 9403) placed on the EU market; the EU operator files a due-diligence statement that includes the geolocation of the timber's harvest plots (Regulation (EU) 2025/2650). Tell us at enquiry what your statement needs, so the supporting documents are prepared with the order.

Frequently asked

Is mango wood good for hotel furniture?
For indoor pieces, yes. Mango averages about 675 kg/m³ dried with a Janka hardness of 1,070 lbf (The Wood Database) — lighter and softer than sheesham, and it takes stain and paint evenly. It is rated moderately durable to perishable, so we kiln-dry it to 8–10% and fully finish it, and recommend acacia or teak for damp or covered outdoor settings.
Do you supply mango wood furniture wholesale?
Yes — to importers, distributors and retailers as well as hotel projects, from a five-unit sample run to full containers, with mixed containers welcome. Every quote is per order; there are no fixed list prices.
Does the EUDR apply to mango wood furniture?
Yes — from 30 December 2026 wooden furniture under HS 9403 placed on the EU market is in scope, whatever the species. The EU operator files the due-diligence statement; tell us what it needs and we prepare the supporting documents with the order.
